低(高)賃金の仕事/a
lower(good) paying job
長時間働く/work long hours
良い(高い)給料をもらう/get more pay
家族を養う/support a family
(ストレスで)神経をすり減らす/stress out
<低賃金でも勤務時間が短い>
I would choose a lower paying job so that I can spend
more time with my family and friends. To me, my family
and friends are more important than money. I find
that people who work long hours and get more pay
are more stressed out and not as friendly. They also
have no time for anyone and complain that they never
have enough money. Instead, people with lower paying
jobs seem to be happier even though they may still
complain. They are also healthier because they have
time to cook and eat properly instead of eating fast
food everyday. People with more demanding jobs and
more pay usually have more health problems because
of stress. They are unable to sleep well, have higher
chance of heart attack, high blood pressure, and
diabetes. (133 words)
<勤務時間が長くても高賃金>
I would choose a high paying job because it is good to
be a productive, successful member of society. From a young
age, we are put in school to be educated and trained to
be ready for working in society. It would be a waste to
not make the most of our training. We should try to get
a good, high paying job so that we can earn more money
for our families. Without a good paying job, it is hard
to support a family and to give our next generations chances
that we did not have. It is also good for our self-esteem
and mental well-being to challenge ourselves to see how
far we can go. (117 words)
