アドバイスをもらう/get
advice
重要な決断をする/make an important decision
〜にアドバイスを求める/ask 〜 for advice
I
agree with this statement to a certain extent because
I think it is always useful to get advice from other
people before making an important decision. Although
the final decision may have to be taken alone, others
may be able to help. For example, before choosing which
degree to do at university it would be useful to talk
to someone in the same field. Another point is that
lots of people before you may have to make similar
decisions so asking them for advice might be helpful.
For example, our grandparents have had more experience
than we do and may be able to help us make a decision.
Although most important decisions may finally have
to be taken alone, involving others can help make sure
we make the decision the right one. (133 words)
