It
is difficult to know why some people enjoy dangerous
sports and activities that risk their lives. Most people
who do these sports probably enjoy the thrill or adrenaline
rush that goes with jumping out of an airplane or doing
a bungee jump for example. Some may see it as an exciting
escape from their daily lives. In some cases the dangerous
activities may actually be part of old traditions,
such as running in front of bulls in Spanish street
festivals or running down hills with logs in Suwa in
Japan. In all cases though, I think that the main reason
for doing them is the sense of excitement that they
get from the danger itself. (116words)
