I believe that computers have made life more convenient. Computers allow us
to save paper. With computers, it is possible to type up homework and handouts
ahead
of time and make sure there are no mistakes before printing. This avoids wasting
paper on the first, second, or third drafts. Online courses are also available
such that, it is possible to take a course in the United States from Japan. Homework
can be submitted online and help can be obtained online as well. This saves on
commuting time and makes self-study learning possible. In our society, computers
have changed the way we communicate to one another and have created alternative
ways of learning and working. (114 words)
<複雑でストレスのたまりやすいものになった>
I think computers have made life more complex and stressful. Computers
are smart but no where near as smart as humans. They are good at repetition
which means
that when we make an error in the program, the error is repeated many times.
Computers are also bad for our health if we use it for an extended period
of time. We are exposed to an unhealthy amount of radiation from the monitor.
Sitting
and starring at the screen for a long period of time is not only bad for
our eyes, but also causes soreness in the neck, lower back, and bad circulation
in
the legs. As computers are known to speed up work, it also creates an environment
where everyone rushes to do everything. This adds to the stress in peoples`
lives and careless mistakes are made. (138 words)
