The
important characteristic of a successful person can
only be determined by one's definition of "successful".
Personally, I feel that the most successful people
are those who are happy. It is difficult to define
what makes a person happy, as it varies from person
to person.
Some people are happy because their expectations are achievable. For example,
many unhappy people would like to be very rich, but, because this can be difficult
to achieve, they are unhappy and, in turn, unsuccessful. Most of the happy people
I know are satisfied with who they are and the life they lead. (99 words)
