I agree
because a tour guide is able to provide more information about a place than we
are able to gather
ourselves. Most people do not research an area before
they travel. Most just do not have the time to do this.
That is why it is important to travel with a tour guide.
The guide is able to tell us the history behind the area
visited and explain how the place came to be the way
it is today. It is usually cheaper to travel with a tour
group because accommodations and entry charges into attractions
are usually bought at a group rate and are cheaper. (107

I disagree with this statement because I have traveled
on my own many times before and have found that solo
travel is the best way to travel. When traveling
with a tour group, it is too rushed and the tour
is not tailored to my own interests and needs. Everything
takes twice as long to do because we are traveling
in a large group. I prefer to travel on my own because
I can choose which sites I want to visit, which restaurant
I want to eat at, and how long I want to spend at
each site. The best part is I will not be identified
as a tourist like I would in a large tour group.
I can try to blend in with the every day people and
see what life is actually like for them. (138 words)
